September Monthly News and Updates
Computational Science Symposium
2020’s virtual Computational Science Symposium is THIS MONTH!
During this event you will be digitally immersed in the clinical research arena regardless of your location and will be able to interact within a virtual environment featuring the key pillars of the CSS: Updates from the FDA, Panel Discussions and, of course, dedicated time for the Working Groups to progress. Take a look below for some key agenda items in store.
Lilliam Rosario, Director, Office of Computational Science, CDER will be opening the FDA Plenary Session. The session will begin with updates on a number of projects within the Office of New Drugs Pre-Market Safety Analytics Program, followed by an overview from the CDER Office of Biostatistics Analytics and Informatics, looking into AIS’s current efforts and future goals.
The plenary session will close with a presentation from Ethan Chen and Heather Crandall on the Study Data Technical Rejection Criteria. They will cover conformance analysis statistics for CDER and CBER for the first half of 2020, along with common errors seen in the conformance analysis and how the self-check worksheet can help reduce the occurrence of these errors.
You can find further information about the FDA presentations here.
