Theme:

Navigating the World of Clinical Data Standards & Submission

Description:

Providing data in a standardised format (i.e. standards such as SDTM, ADaM, Define-XML, etc.) helps regulatory agencies receive, process, review and archive submissions more efficiently and effectively. From the sponsor perspective, these standards enable efficiency and automation, and maximise the value of the data. In an ideal scenario, organisations would look at standards implementation from all perspectives while developing and implementing their data standards strategy. Implementing standards can be a challenging task for multiple reasons. Some of these include constantly evolving data standards, regulatory differences, dearth of end-to-end technology solutions, organisational resources/operating models, etc. The PHUSE Boston SDE 2020 provides a great opportunity to learn how various organisations adapt to this challenging world of clinical data standards and submission.

Thinking of joining PHUSE?

Already a member but not sure how you can benefit?

PHUSE is an expanding, global society with a global membership of clinical data scientists. It requires a large pool of resources to help with its running, and so there are many opportunities for members to become involved. Whether it's chairing a conference, presenting at an event, leading a working group or contributing to the quarterly online newsletter, we are always keen to hear from volunteers.
