PHUSE is a global community of professionals passionate about the advancement of clinical information.

A non-profit membership Society run by volunteers, PHUSE provides the industry with the premier platform for creating and sharing ideas, tools and standards around data and statistical & reporting technologies.

“Our volunteers’ dedication and commitment enable us to consolidate current work, cultivate fresh thought and advance change in order to help those who need it most: the patients. We have so much to be proud of.”

– Stephen Bamford, PHUSE Founder and Chairman of the Board

Changes to PHUSE Membership

As announced in the PHUSE Webinar in June, change is coming for Membership. PHUSE’s Membership module now has 10,000+ members, but this will be changing for 2020 and beyond. We are excited to share our pioneering transformation from ‘Membership’ to ‘Community’ for 2021.

PHUSE acknowledges that the healthcare industry is going through a tremendous amount of change and disruption in terms of changing technology, changing programming languages, and a fluid regulatory landscape. Therefore, from January 2021, PHUSE will be a free-to-join community of data scientists and will be known as the de facto global healthcare data science community, transforming the current membership into a community.

Following this change, your company can invest in the development of you and your colleagues by becoming a PHUSE Supporter, as either the Signature, Premier or Key status, and have access to various benefits, ensuring a cost-effective way of being involved with PHUSE.

All current group members will be contacted and provided with further information on the community support model and sponsorship packages; Signature, Premier and Key. Or, download the PHUSE Supporter Application Form .

For any further information please contact: Sangeeta Bhattacharya, Membership Director or email

Thinking of joining PHUSE?

Already a member but not sure how you can benefit?

PHUSE is an expanding, global society with a global membership of clinical data scientists. It requires a large pool of resources to help with its running, and so there are many opportunities for members to become involved. Whether it's chairing a conference, presenting at an event, leading a working group or contributing to the quarterly online newsletter, we are always keen to hear from volunteers.
