"Programming on Steroids” – Utilizing Advanced Programming Techniques to Break through the Constraints of Time, Cost and Quality.

2017 is the year of celebration for our 100th PHUSE Single Day Event (SDE). Our first theme of the new year for our US SDEs was “Programming on Steroids”, which elicited 60 registrants with attendees from various Biopharmaceutical and CRO companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. The venue host – Gilead, nicely facilitated the event in their Foster City, CA campus and we had speakers from all over the country to cover topics and areas such as: Meta-Programming; Data Integrity and Compliance with 21 CFR Part 11; Data-Mining Techniques; Emerging Trends and Technologies; and Data-Visualization application using R/ Shiny. We had an FDA speaker, a speaker from Google and a PHUSE workgroup presentation. The contributions from our sponsors, co-chairs, speakers, and PHUSE organizing committee led to a great event that concluded with an engaging panel discussion.
