PhUSE EU Connect 2018

Future Forward

4th – 7th November 2018

The PhUSE EU Connect 2018 will be located in the beautiful city of Frankfurt. It is known as the financial capital of Germany having a fantastic skyline with the high skyscrapers and vivid river with the countless bridges. The conference venue is centrally located in Frankfurt, a city famous for apple wine and green sauce, so give it a try.

The conference theme “Future Forward” provides an outline on what lays ahead. Our well known standard landscape led by CDISC will be extended by FHIR and others. Our technology is evolving, in addition to classical data warehouses and metadata repositories more and more linked data solutions arise. We are keen to see how our work can improve through machine learning and other intelligent solutions. New visualisations and interactive displays allow us to gain much more insight on our data.

Might this result in the scope of our job profiles changing? How do we face the new technologies and possibilities in our regulated environment? How can we trust machine learning results? Share your experiences and thoughts and find out which way colleagues from other companies will go! Let’s find our way to the future together as a community! Join the EU Connect 2018 in Frankfurt to see what lies ahead.

PhUSE is an expanding, global society with a membership of more than 8,000 clinical data scientists. Whether it's chairing a conference, presenting at an event, leading a working group or contributing to the quarterly newsletter, we are always keen to hear from volunteers.
