Interoperability and Technology
On 1st June PhUSE Single Day Event Copenhagen was held at the Novo Nordisk Headquarter in Bagsværd, Copenhagen. The event was attended by 120 delegates from 9 countries across 28 companies.
Fourteen speakers shared their extensive experiences, lessons learned and best practices. We started the day with a focus on how we manage, use and maintain our metadata for data standards – from visionary innovations, new experiences and daily programming tips. Then we reflected on the increased importance of SCEs, the SCE initiative at Novartis and how the SCEs vary between companies. Then we shifted focus to the Digital Health initiatives at Novo Nordisk and Lundbeck, with perspectives on why these initiatives are important and what the challenges are in handling these new types of data. All in all it was a great day with very positive evaluations and feedback.
Over lunch and during the breaks the delegates took the chance to exchange with colleagues and friends in a pleasant atmosphere and to make new allies across the various sections of our industry.
We will like to thank the presenters as well as our sponsors and all who helped to organise the event. With the encouraging feedback that we received it looks like we can plan for another Copenhagen SDE in 2018.
