Your Opportunity to Connect, Share and Advance
PhUSE offers a variety of events for members and volunteers to attend throughout the year. Deciding which event to attend can sometimes be a tricky decision to make. The truth is all our events are jam-packed with up-to-date pharmaceutical news, attended by inspiring keynote speakers and filled with insightful poster presentations and topic streams. If that was not enough, they are also hosted in fabulous, metropolitan cities around the world.
Whilst our Single Day Events (SDEs) speak for themselves. The PhUSE CSS and PhUSE Connects are both multi-day events offering a range of data driven activities.
Essentially the PhUSE CSS is a more hands-on event that invites attendees the opportunity to engage with the six Working Groups and their projects. The CSS is also a chance for group members to meet and discuss their projects in person with scheduled Hands-On Workshops. Volunteers from the Working Groups will often present a poster of their project and open up the floor for comment or review. The Working Groups are focused around producing a deliverable, and those lucky enough to attend the CSS will often become part of projects in action. In comparison, the Connect provides an overview of what is happening within the Data Science community. Anyone who would like to present a poster or presentation is invited to do so. Both the CSS and Connects offer fabulous networking opportunities and the chance to gain relevant knowledge within the largest biometric society in the world.
This year will be the eighth US CSS, and PhUSE is proud to state that it continues to be the premier collaboration across industry, regulators, and service/technology providers. The event will be held 9th – 11th June in Silver Spring, Maryland. Once more, the event will be co-sponsored by the FDA and PhUSE, helping to bring together a range of stakeholders to address computational science needs in support of regulatory review.
Registration for the US CSS opens this Thursday, on 31st January. To keep up to date, and guarantee your space, please view our CSS page.
