School In a Bag – Giving Hope to a Child

After tragically losing his older brother Piers in the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, Luke Simon, along with friends also caught up in the disaster, set up the Piers Simon Appeal (PSA). Overwhelmed by the kindness and care shown to them by members of the Ko Phi Phi community facing their own immense losses and horrors, Luke and his friends began fundraising to support victims of the tsunami.

CSS 2019 Summary

This year’s CSS boasted a record number of poster submissions! It is no wonder it was such a success. Nearly 260 attendees congregated at the Civic Center in Silver Spring on June, 9th–11th this year.

PHUSE is an expanding, global society with a global membership of clinical data scientists. It requires a large pool of resources to help with its running, and so there are many opportunities for members to become involved.
