What is PhUSE?
PhUSE is an independent, not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. Since its inception, PhUSE has expanded from its roots as a conference for European statistical programmers to a global membership organisation and platform for the discussion of topics encompassing the work of data managers, biostatisticians, statistical programmers and eClinical IT professionals.
PhUSE provides three collaboration platforms for its members:
Face-to-face interaction is the cornerstone of the PhUSE Society.
The annual PhUSE Connect is a multi-day conference held in both the EU and the US. It gives members the opportunity to connect, share and advance ideas through keynote and Stream presentations, Hands-on Workshops, Discussion Clubs, evening events and a Poster Session.
The annual Computational Science Symposium (CSS) brings together academia, regulators, industry and technology providers to address computational science needs in support of regulatory review and ultimately bring safe and effective products to those who need them. It is a unique collaboration that enables Working Groups to meet, network and exchange ideas.
Single Day Events take place throughout the year across EMEA, the Americas and APAC regions and provide a more social setting for a concentrated look at a single topic.
The PhUSE website offers collaboration tools positioned to encourage worldwide interaction. The PhUSE Wiki, webinars, communication library and the PhUSE Archives are available for members to listen, read, research and share. Presentations and keynote videos from all PhUSE Connects, Computational Science Symposiums and Single Day Events can be found in the Archive.
The PhUSE Members blog consists of seven exciting categories: Events Travel Across the Globe, Industry Hot Topics, Kirk's Korner, Looking for a Change?, Off the Shelf, Starter for 10 and Working Groups News. This online publication contains regular updates around all things PhUSE, including interviews, industry articles, job opportunities and reviews!
The Monthly Mailing is our mini e-newsletter keeping members regularly updated on all PhUSE happenings, including SDE and conference information, webinar details, membership news and Board of Director updates.
The PhUSE Working Groups, which are led by volunteers from major stakeholders, have been developing innovative solutions that address unmet computational science needs. The Working Groups blog will look to share the latest information around the PhUSE Working Groups, from workshops to white papers, project news and industry views.
