Mobile Technology in Clinical Research

The use of mobile technology such as wearables, sensors, and smart devices is becoming increasingly prominent in healthcare and clinical research. Clearly, we’re only just starting to understand this field. Challenges may be found in the collection of data from digital devices, the analysis of the data, and interpretation of results. Many new opportunities remain to be identified as to how can this data be used to the advantage of patients and consumers in terms of health monitoring, curing disease, relieving symptoms, or improving the overall quality of life.
