Pre-Conference Training Courses

We are pleased to announce that two pre-conference training courses are being organised for the Sunday afternoon in Berlin.  These conference will start at 2pm on Sunday 17th October.

There will be a CDISC workshop (in collaboration with Business & Decision Life Sciences), the other course will be a Elementary Statistics for SAS Programmers (with Amadeus).

CDISC Workshop
(Hosted by Business & Decision)

2. A data conversion methodology demo (using SAS Data Integration Studio)
3. An SDTM validation demonstration
4. What’s new in 3.1.2: the highlights
5. Implementing CDASH and SDTM in Oracle Clinical / Remote Data Capture

Elementary Statistics for SAS Programmers
(Hosted by Amadeus Software)

1. Introduction, SAS procedures covered & terminology refresher
2. Summarising continuous data, methods of classifying data into groups & storing results in output data sets
3. Summarising nominal & ordinal data
4. Exploring data graphically (using SAS 9.2 SG procedures)

How to book?

Each course will cost €140 and booking is done as part of the registration process for the conference.   If you book and subsequently get a paper accepted, PhUSE will refund the difference in registration fees.
