EMA GCP Inspectors Working Group & Interested Parties Meeting

Tony Hewer (Emerging Trends & Technologies Working Group Co-Lead) delivered a PhUSE presentation at this joint meeting on 30th November 2015.

The presentation on the theme "Electronic Data Capture Systems and Risk-based Monitoring in Clinical Trials" was based on the deliverables and views from the Emerging Trends & Technologies Working Group, and in particular, the project "The Cloud: Lowering Barriers to Adoption". Tony Hewer, together with Adrienne Bonwick (PhUSE BoD) and Anders Vidstrup ('Cloud Lowering Barriers' project WG member) represented PhUSE at the EMA and the presentation was well received by the different stakeholders. Presentations from DKMA, eCF, ePRO Consortium, ECRIN, TransCelerate, ACRO and EUCROF were also delivered, followed by a Q&A. Lots of areas were discussed and a follow on meeting is to be arranged.
