Summary

On the 19th May, there was a full house of attendees at the PhUSE Beijing SDE held at MSD. There were over 120 attendees from top global pharma, CROs and many burgeoning domestic companies. Professor Pingyan Chen provided a deep review of biostatistics education in China and the future of biometry talent development; CDMC core personnel Hualon Sun shared informatiom on the newest technology to improve the quality of data. Victor Wu, Chair of the China CDISC Coordinating Committee (C3C) explored the current CDISC implementation in China and the upcoming trends. Industry experts, Eric Sun and You Li shared their industry experience and insights on the FDA eSource interpretation and implementation from a tecnique point of view and shared a case study on the FDA Advisory Committee. In addition, several industry professionals shared their view of the current hot topics and innovative solutions (including mass imputation, CRF annotation automation, TA specific topics (vaccine/oncology)).

The day finished with discussions on the upcoming trends for the clinical trial development in China and globally.
