What is PhUSE?
PhUSE is an independent, not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. Since its inception, PhUSE has expanded from its roots as a conference for European Statistical Programmers, to a global membership organisation and platform for the discussion of topics encompassing the work of Data Managers, Biostatisticians, Statistical Programmers and eClinical IT professionals.
PhUSE provides three collaboration platforms for its members:
Face to face interaction is the cornerstone of the PhUSE society.
The Annual PhUSE Conference is fun, engaging and relevant. Held once a year in October, this four-day event gives members the opportunity to share, contribute and advance ideas through keynote and stream presentations, workshops, discussion clubs, evening events and a poster session.
The Annual Computational Science Symposium (CSS) brings together academia, regulators, industry and technology providers to address computational science needs in support of regulatory review and ultimately bring safe and effective products to those who need them. It's a unique collaboration that enables working groups to meet, network and exchange ideas.
The European CSS was newly established in 2016. Building on the growth and success of the US conference, this two-day meeting features interactive, hands-on sessions around working group teams and projects.
Single Day Events take place throughout the year across Europe, the US and Asia and provide a more social setting for a concentrated look at a single topic.
The PhUSE website offers collaboration tools positioned to encourage worldwide interaction. The PhUSE Wiki, webinars, communication library and the PhUSE Archives are available for members to listen, read, research and share. Presentations and keynote videos from all Annual Conferences, Computational Science Symposiums and Single Day Events can be found in the Archive.
PhUSE News is the quarterly newsletter of PhUSE. This informal publication contains updates around PhUSE happenings as well as interviews, reviews and articles.
The Monthly Mailing is our mini e-newsletter keeping members regularly updated on all PhUSE happenings, including SDE and conference information, webinar details, membership news and Board of Director updates.
