Budapest – Queen of the Danube
In the heart of Europe, where East and West meets, lies the beautiful capital of Hungary. Regarded by many as one of World's most beautiful cities, Budapest has become one of the most popular travel destinations. Although Budapest is known as the Paris of the East it has its own distinctive character and attractions. These attractions combined with Hungarian people's legendary hospitality make a Budapest trip a special experience.
History left its traces everywhere in the city. You can see them on her grand buildings, in cobbled streets and on people's faces. You can explore most of its major attractions on foot. There are plenty of places in the city that are excellent for leisurely walks. The Matthias Church, the Buda Castle, Saint Stephen’s Basilica, the Széchenyi Chain Bridge or the Great Synagogue wait to be explored.
But the main attraction of Budapest is the River Danube. The river flows gracefully from the North and the two city parts, Buda and Pest welcome it with a warm embrace. Rather than dividing the city the Danube is in full harmony with the two parts, presenting Budapest with striking vistas.
Budapest is not too large and not too small. It has just the right size that makes it a pleasant place to live and to discover. The city is home to the largest spas, historic museums, restaurants, coffee houses and party places.
Budapest MarriottOur hotel conference this year is the Budapest Marriott. A beautiful 5-star hotel on the bank of the Danube. All rooms have views on the river and we hope you will enjoy the coziness of this modern and trendy hotel.
